New Film Crowdfunding Masterclass dates

We're running another session of our ever-popular two-part crowdfunding masterclass on the evenings of Wednesday 1st May, and Wednesday 8th May. The masterclass takes place, as usual, at City University, Franklin Building, 124 Goswell Road, London EC1V 7DP. (Map here). This is a date change from the course that was originally supposed to run on 24th April.

The course is facilitated by Greenlit CEO Peter Storey, and is for anyone considering running a crowdfunding campaign, or wants to understand the relationship between crowdfunding, audience-building and community. We look at the creative demands, the psychology and the practical tools of launching and managing a campaign. The first session covers the principles and strategies of marketing and branding that filmmakers can use, while the second session deals with practical planning and tools to maximise the effectiveness of the campaign.

We first ran this course at the end of January 2019 and, using the tools and strategies discussed, the filmmakers who have participated have gone on to successfully raise over £100,000 in funding in just the last 2 months. The course has also been presented to film students at Norwich University of the Arts, and postgraduates at Goldsmiths.

For more details and to book, check out our Eventbrite page. We also pledge that if any student then goes on to complete a successful crowdfunding campaign via Greenlit, we will refund any course fees paid - so you can't lose. Book soon, places are limited!
